What does DADG do?
DADG holds regular meetings across Derbyshire. Special interest groups also meet regularly, including groups for marketing, visual arts and festivals. DADG coordinate projects on behalf of its members, currently a two year programme of arts marketing development (AMID) and a two year visual arts programme (re:place) (for more information on these projects see the resources and projects sections of this minisite). The newest DADG project is Festivity, a Derbyshire Festivals Forum. For more information on their plans and achievements see their minisite. DADG has also actively promoted arts and cultural activity to key interest groups and opinion formers including the production of an arts advocacy pack (pdf 2MB) to make the case for the cultural sector in the County. The group also produces resources, from advice and help for artists and arts organisations to reports on the research the group undertakes.
